Runners just do it. They run for the finish line even if someone else has reached it first.
Hi friends and followers! I hate that I always say I’m going to be more active on this tumblr and then completely dismiss it again. I’ve just been so busy between working two jobs, trying to keep up with the fitness, and attempting to have a social life. However 2014 is a new year and it is the year I am going to reach my goals! Let me give you some updates on me!
I currently weigh 200 pounds, which makes me sad because I had gotten all the way down to 190 but the holidays came and went and did their number on me (of course I rightfully let them). I have however still gone down in pants/dress size and am now a comfortable 14 (crazy to think I was once pushing size 22!). I have reached my goal of running a 5K and am now preparing for a 10K. I feel much better and comfortable when running which was one of my major goals for 2013, I can now comfortably run 4+ miles without stopping.
I joined From Fat to Fit Chick’s Diet Bet: http://www.dietbetter.com/games/27866 and am excited to see some results and win some money for holding myself accountable to my weight loss. I have to lose 8 pounds by January 30th and I definitely believe I can do it, but that’s where this tumblr comes in. When I actually use this tumblr and see all the inspiring things people post it motivates me to want to do so much better for myself, as I’m sure it does for you too. I am going to try to limit my activity to no more than 30 minutes a day however because I am busy to begin with and don’t want to spend the little free time I do have completely on tumblr (that’s time I could be working out!).
So I ask you to re-join me on my journey as I promise I will keep you updated and am eager to see your progress as well! I welcome any new followers and am about to go out and follow some fresh 2014 resolutioners as well, because we all need a little motivation here and there.
